More than 100 tax administrators from across the Commonwealth have turned from policy to wildlife, spending time in one of Africa’s most celebrated landscapes.

NGORONGORO, Tanzania: More than 100 delegates from the Commonwealth Association of Tax Administrators (CATA) visited the Ngorongoro Conservation Area after their meeting in Arusha, discovering its wildlife, dramatic landscapes and rich cultural and archaeological heritage.

For Emery, a delegate from Rwanda, the visit was an unexpected highlight and left him eager to see what lay ahead in the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater.

“Visiting Ngorongoro is a surprise for us, and I cannot wait to see more when I get down into the crater,” he said.

Peter Robert of Gosheni Safaris, the safari organiser, said Ngorongoro was chosen for its natural beauty, diverse wildlife and significant archaeological discoveries, qualities that make it a destination for visitors seeking something extraordinary.

The visit highlighted Ngorongoro’s global appeal as a place where nature, culture and human origins meet, and reinforced its standing as one of Tanzania’s leading tourist attractions.
